People who have lost money can do the following:

1.    The current owners are 1. Art Valle residing at 10200 Dunn Court, Riverside, CA  92503   2.   Christel Reyna her office is 11741 STERLING AVE. UNIT A,  Riverside Ca,  92503 tel # 951-687-6800  cell # 951-317-3119

2.      You need to sue both of the above owners.  You can serve both at the business address on Sterling Ave.  The employees will probably tell you that they are not there.  You can do what is called a substitute service because it is where they work.  You can serve the law suit on anyone in the office.

3.    They will make the following claims:

    a.    They will claim that they are not the owners.  They will say that John Crawford owns the business.  This is not true.   They are just trying to avoid the legal ramifications of their decision to shut down Ivy House.   You can confirm that they are owners by finding out who has been the owner of record for the last the year.  The city of Inglewood will tell you that it is Christel Reyna. You can go to the following link to confirm this:  http://www.cityofinglewood.org/businessdirectory/alpha.asp?action=search&page=10&alpha=i&keyword=&btype=&startdate=&enddate=         Look under Ivy House.         You can also check out who owns the property by looking at property records for 705, 709, and 711 So. Inglewood Ave.  You will see the owner is Christel Ryna.  Christel and Art bought the property from John Crawford on October 25, 2006.  They have been in control and taking all the money since that date.  They decided to shut down the business because they ran out of money.  A week after that decision the City of Inglewood refused to give them a business license.  The reason the city gave was that when the property was sold, and therefore they had to comply with all the laws of a residential zone.  They told them on on Sept. 11, 2007, that they had lost the protection against such requirements when the property was sold.  The business had operated for 63 years under the old laws.

    b.    When you go to court they may claim that they do not have any money.  Christel and Art have put, according to their own testimony, several million dollars in trust.  This trust can be broken.  They received this money from Christel's grandfather.  Christel also puts money in many bank accounts.  She also keeps large amounts of money in a safe at home.
