A second camera is recommended for best results. Second camera prices are: $175.00 for a wedding only and $275.00 for a wedding and reception. Editing to put the two cameras together is $125.00. Deluxe editing is $175.00. Therefore, the total for two cameras at the wedding and one camera at the reception, edited video with regular editing is $880.00

The advantages of a second camera are:

a. Prior to the wedding if there is something neat going on in the brides room, for instance, if you only have one camera and it is with the groom, you will miss that moment. If you have 2 cameras, you can assign one camera exclusively to the bride and brides maids and one camera to the groom, groomsmen and arriving guests.

b. The most important advantage of having two cameras is that during the wedding you can set the cameras at opposite angles so that no matter which way you are facing, you will be facing toward one camera.

c. At any given point during the wedding, the best vantage point for the cameras changes. With 2 cameras, the cameras can move to the best position. For example, when the bride comes down the aisle, the best position for the camera is behind the gazebo shooting down the center of the aisle so that you can see the bride, her escort, and the beautiful flowers down the aisle. However, when the minister steps into position, he blocks this view, so the camera has to move. With 2 cameras the cameramen can communicate with radio head phones. Camera 1 will tell camera 2 that he needs to move so that camera will hold a steady picture until camera 1 has moved to his new position.

d. When the cameramen can move to multiple positions throughout the wedding, it begins to look like there are many cameras. This gives the video a much more interesting look.

e. If something goes wrong with a camera, or if someone temporarily blocks the view of a camera, the editor can simply go to the other camera. If you only had one camera, the moment would be lost.

f. With 2 cameras, the cameramen can get shots that otherwise will be lost. For example, during the first kiss, if you only had one camera, of course you would have to cover the first kiss. However, if you had 2 cameras, the front camera could shoot back at the audience to get audience reaction shots. Mom may be crying, guests are clapping and smiling. The editor can put these moments together into one tape so that you can see both. It is much more dramatic and fun.

g. The second cameraman can gamble on shots that one cameramen couldn’t. For example, during the ring exchange, if you just have one camera, he must take a safe shot and show the bride and groom exchanging rings in a 3/4 body shot. If you have a second camera, he can gamble and go in for a close up of the rings. The editor can put both of these shots together.

h. The 2 cameras videos can be edited together with music, titles, and special effects. Taking the best of both cameras and putting them into one tape. This is the best, most professional looking video that you can buy. We recommend it highly.
